Which photo works best?

A sharp phone photo in daylight, at eye level, with the whole face visible. 99% of phone photos work. If yours doesn’t, we’ll tell you before we start.

Who creates my portrait?

A real artist finishes every portrait by hand, based on your photo. You see it before anything is made.

What if I don’t love the preview?

Tell us what to change. Revisions are unlimited and free, and nothing is printed until you approve.

How long does it take?

Your preview arrives within 48 hours. After you approve, your piece is made in 1–4 business days and arrives in about a week on average.

Can I add more than one dog?

Yes. 2, 3 or more dogs on one piece, for the same price.

Can I use an older photo?

Yes, as long as your dog’s face is clear. Older photos often work beautifully, including for dogs who are no longer with us. It’s a lovely way to keep them close.

Can I add my dog’s name?

Many of our portrait styles include the name already, as you can see in the product photos. For other styles, just ask us when or after you order. Adding a name may cost a little extra, since it changes how we print.

Can you keep or remove the collar?

Both. Tell us what you’d like when you order and our artists will keep or remove the collar, leash or harness in your portrait.

Can I return a custom piece?

Because it’s made just for you, there are no change-of-mind returns. If anything is damaged, misprinted or wrong, we replace it for free.
